Orka Financial is working with a UK listed manufacturing business who are based in Chiswick (hybrid). The group has been performing well in recent years and this is an opportunity to join a growing business at an exciting time in key position. The role is a broad accounting role taking full ownership of the finance for the US entity.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts aligned to agreed timeline for divisional and group close
• Monthly analysis and review of variances actuals vs budget/forecast
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and the relevant statutory accounting standards
• VAT and sales tax reporting
• Preparation of information for tax returns
• Reconciling key balance sheet accounts
• Oversee payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Contact for external audit deliverables at half year and year end
• Providing project assistance for implementing new systems and processes
• Ad hoc reports and analysis
• Requirement to travel to other sites across the group as necessary

Profile:

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent accountancy qualification
• Able to report finance information to non-finance colleagues
• High degree of attention to detail with the ability to self-review and error-check work to
ensure accuracy
• Highly developed problem solving abilities and organisational skills
• Competent user of MS Excel
• Excellent numerical and communication skills
• Team player ready to support others

Salary:

£48,000 - £55,000 + bonus + benefits
