AP Network Assistant Manager - Marcomms - Paying £35,000 - £40,000
 
We are recruiting a AP Network Assistant Manager within a large Marcomms network.
 
To assist the Accounts Payable Manager in providing best practice AP services to the agencies in their allocated network, as well as acting as the key contact for the senior agency stakeholders.

Services include invoice and expense processing, vendor management, payments, intercompany, query management and reporting, ensuring streamlined processes are enhanced and followed.
 
This role will be reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager please note you must have previous experience within a large business group and 3 + accounts payable experience.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the service levels across all the functional teams for the respective network as required
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of issues when they arise, minimise issue turnaround time and reoccurrence of issues through improved processes
  • Tailor communications to different stakeholders (team members, suppliers, agency personnel, senior management etc.)
  • Communicate with the Senior Finance Management team regularly
  • Drive and review the KPI Dashboards for the Accounts Payable mailboxes and the Query Management process, communicating feedback and proposing improvements to SSC management because of the dashboard outputs. 
  • Monitor and review the aged creditors to maintain tidy ledgers and identify potential areas of risk
  • Provide fortnightly status reports to the agency senior finance management for the agencies within their network
  • Manage relations with key stakeholders in the agency and with key suppliers
  • Liaise with agency management accountants to assist in month end procedures
  • Manage and coordinate cashflow forecast reporting, pulling together deliverables from the various teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage the monthly IR35 submission cycle with HR and Management Accounting across all Networks
  • Approve the release of new vendors at entity level in Microsoft d365
  • Provide ongoing procedural training to agencies
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years previous experience with Media/Marketing Agency.
  • 3 years AP Supervisor/Management experience a must.
  • Analytical thinking working under pressure at month end and coping with tight deadlines is a must.

  • Must be detail orientated with ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships quickly. 
  • Ability to problem solve in an occasionally unstructured environment.
