Our client, one of the world's most iconic talent agencies, is looking for a Beauty Agent from a competitor environment to join their team. You must have experience in artist management in beauty and experience working with high profile artists and clients. Ideally, you will have artists you might want to bring over to the agency, hence once why competitor experience is important for this job.

Core elements of the position:
• Responsible for managing a roster for artists and recruiting additional artists to achieve annual growth as determined by the manager
• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing jobs for brand artists on the roster
• Responsible for managing artist careers through their lifecycle and diversifying their income streams for long term sustainability
• Responsible for achieving an annual sales goal as set by the manager
• Communicating regularly with all stakeholders, including artists, brand employees, shared services, and management as needed
• Collaborate with other brands in order to increase revenue to the whole organisation

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop sales strategy for artists represented over the short and medium term
• Develop career strategy for artists represented to expand income from other offerings and from new market opportunities relevant to each artists tone, aims and potential.
• Supporting artists with their personal projects for long term prospective revenue
• Managing and training producers, annual appraisals and providing feedback for career growth
• Developing and maintaining key client relationships
• Developing and building a network of [designers, producers/ production companies, brands.] that each artist can work with, and negotiating mutually successful terms
• Identifying and researching artist sales opportunities though network and other contacts (both for own roster and for brand)
• Creating estimates/budgets for jobs (including production as required) following the agreed system guidance
• Negotiating contracts, fees and job estimates/budgets [under the guidance of the senior agents]
• Run confirmed jobs from start to finish from including
• Managing the budget and reconciling estimates with actual spend (including signing off on third party invoices)
• Liaising with artists directly
• Assisting artists on all production; organising travel arrangements, booking flights, hotels and cars etc, liaising with producer to help on this.
• Working together with central accounting team to submit job files on time and to support timely reporting
• Generating invoices and ensuring prompt payment from clients
• Wrapping jobs after completion including collection of supporting information
• Collection of shoot assets (working with producer on imagery)
• Manage and update artist portfolios including the website, the tear sheet, print and digital archives
• Collaborating with a team to meet competitive goals and quotas.
• Tracking and reporting key performance metrics
• Collaborate with other agencies by either working on a job with another brand, pitching jobs with strategic sales, making referrals to clients to other parts of the agency or signing artists to other services
• Support wider growth by upselling other talent, both in individual jobs and as client introductions
• Working with agents to identify common improvement goals and strategies and implement them
• Proactively Identifying potential cross projects for clients and work with the strategic sales team to approach the client
• Documenting assignments in the form of case studies for website and wider promotions
• Working early mornings, late evenings and weekends if required

Required Experience:
• Proven 3+ years’ experience in planning, budgeting, and/or booking assignments.
• Experience in the [fashion industry & beauty]
• Understanding the emerging market and identification of new talent
• A thorough and demonstrable knowledge, understanding and interest in the business of [photography, advertising and marketing, editorial fashion, styling, hair makeup]
• A demonstrable career history of negotiating and closing deals
• Proven ability to develop and maintain long term relationships with our strategic clients
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once

Required Personal Skills:
• Goal-oriented, motivated, responsible and a pro-active self-starter
• Team player to support the brand and wider agencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident and assertive with the ability to negotiate and achieve successful outcomes
• Extremely organized and able to multi-task and manage time whilst working under pressure
• Computer literate
