Position: Clinical Disability Assessor / Functional Assessor

Salary: £37,333 - £39,500 + bonus scheme.

Work Arrangement: Site Working and Home Working (Hybrid)

Hours: Permanent – Full Time and Part Time Hours available. (09:00am – 17:30pm)

Location: St Austell – (PL25– Postal Area)

Start Date: July 2024 onwards – (notices can be accommodated).

Qualifications Sought:

All Occupations must have at least 1 years in the clinical field and 1 years registered on the NMC/HCPC body. – Essential
  • ADULT -Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD)
  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Paramedics
Training:
  • 5-week home-based training program with strong support system.
  • Followed by a hybrid working pattern.

Main Duties:
  1. Speak with individuals claiming PIP benefit either over the phone or face to face / Telephone or Virtual Assessments.
  2. Conduct consultation sessions with cases organized, freeing you from appointment admin.
  3. Work with people presenting complex conditions, including physical, mental health, cognitive, and sensory impairments.
  4. Conduct thorough functional medical assessments of disabilities or conditions.
  5. Write and submit reports using a specialised IT system.
Requirements:
  • Strong Typing skills (36-40wpm) – essential.
  • Full HCPC/NMC registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • 1 year of post-qualification experience in the medical field as registered NMC/HCPC clinician. This requires full 1 years NMC/HCPC Registration and 1 full year in the clinical field.
