Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and compassionate social worker with a passion for enhancing community wellbeing? Randstad is seeking a skilled Community Wellbeing Social Worker to join our team in North Tyneside.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the community by supporting individuals and families to achieve better health and social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, strengths, and risks.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct support and interventions to improve clients' physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
  • Advocate for clients and ensure they have access to necessary resources and services.
  • Work collaboratively with local agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) and registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within community wellbeing or similar settings.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
