General Manager, Sports Bar/Restaurant

London SW6 (Fulham)

Salary: £40,000 p.a.

Experienced Manager required with good knowledge of Marketman inventory management software and excellent knowledge of financial management, staff management, stock management and opening and closing a site.

This highly successful sports bar/restaurant offering casual dining, sports event viewing and live music at the weekends is looking for a young, energetic manager to oversee approximately 12 staff working a 42-hour shift and be confident in labour costs and budgeting as well as general Profit and Loss.

Duties:

• Oversee day to day operations of the site.
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and ambiance.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Liaise with suppliers and ordering stock.
• Recruit, train, supervise and mentor staff.
• Schedule and manage staff rotas.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met.
• Manage customer queries through to resolution, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor sales and expenditure.
• Explore new avenues for increasing customer engagement.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar environment.
• Experience using Marketman inventory management software.
• Good knowledge of labour costs and general financial management such as budgeting, profit and loss etc.
• Must be a Personal license holder.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Financial acumen and budget management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
