Due to an increase in customer demand in our clients business and continued company growth, they are now recruiting for a Goods in Co-Ordinator to join their team in the Runcorn / Widnes area on a Double Days position.

This role offers the opportunity to work for a true independent market leader and established global brand. Role Description

  • Manage the booking schedule, taking bookings from Hauliers by email and telephone.
  • Receive incoming goods and materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes as well as completing the Goods In inspection sheet and booking the stock onto the stock control system ( MTMS )
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the goods in area.
  • Perform against a set number of KPI's and measure deliveries against KPI's for lateness etc…
  • Carry out daily and weekly PI stocktakes.
  • Monitor shelf life of stock and raise concessions as required.
  • Quarterly stock checks will be completed, which will require some weekend working.
  • Ensure all stock is booked in with any discrepancies resolved and complete reconciliation of warehouse invoices for month end close.
  • Previous experience as a Goods In clerk, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the policies, processes, and systems of warehouse management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Previous experience in using inventory management software/systems.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
