IT Support Engineer (Contract) - Education Sector

An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join school in Sheffield!

This is a 3-month contract, initially covering sick leave. However, there is a high chance of this contact being extended further. The ideal candidate will be local to the School in Sheffield, as this will be 5 days a week on-site.

Key skills and experience:

  • 5+ years' experience as an IT Support Engineer
  • Proven experience as an IT Engineer in a School/College
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting (PCs and laptops).
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and supporting this software for multiple users.
  • Able to communicate effectively within a School environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT related issues within the school premises.
  • Liaise between school departments to effectively fix issues.
  • Troubleshoot IT hardware and software.
  • Support multiple users across the school with Microsoft 365.
  • Provide remote support via the phone as well as on-site support.
