Laboratory Technician

Rotating Shift Pattern (including night shift)

Temporary role – full time hours - 6 months

Reed Scientific are working with a global testing company who have a laboratory in Aberdeen. They have an urgent need to recruit a number of analytical staff on a temporary contract starting ASAP and are looking for candidates local to the area with laboratory experience who are able to work on a rotating shift pattern.

Duties will include:

• Conduct analytical testing on samples using a variety of analytical equipment
• Analyse test results and log onto a LIMS before releasing details to clients
• Perform laboratory maintenance of equipment and ensure laboratory is well equipped
• Report any issues to supervisor

About You:

• Minimum of a Science degree within the Life Sciences – Chemistry or Biology related
• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment and following set protocols and procedures
• Flexible approach to working shifts
• Hard working attitude and a willingness to support others
