Job Title: Maintenance Engineers w/ Stores

Salary: up to £42,000

The Role

Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer with Stores experience, they are a market leading manufacturer of ambient food. The successful candidate will be in charge of the warehousing, as well as the engineering side of things whilst on the night shift. This position is a Monday-Friday with a 7.5 hour shift (10:30PM to 07:00AM)

Duties and responsibilities:

• To provide engineering presence, as well as carrying out planned maintenance and improvement of plant equipment in order to maximise performance.
• To be comfortable running the stores for the engineering department on the night shift.
• To be responsible for all parts and stock controlling from goods in and goods out, and then issuing as well as logging spare parts that come in and out of the warehouse.
• To be able to be a valuable engineering resource who can carry out breakdown repairs, corrective as well as planned maintenance.
• To drive improvement through means of continuous improvement using data. (GEMBA, RCA, etc...)
• To be able to keep the workshop clean and tidy.

The Candidate

• PM Tool Experience
• Formal engineering qualifications to at least City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• The ability to follow instructions, attention to detail and be able to work as an individual while delivering set standards.
• The ability to communicate with other team members in order to solve potential problems.
