Rapier Employment are looking for a Senior First Aider to join the team at a well-known school in Wallingford on a temporary maternity cover basis.

Salary:£12.80 - £13.93 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: 37 hours per week - term time only + inset days.

Duties to include and are not limited to:
  • Provision of medical/first aid care to students/staff.
  • Replenish Medical Supplies.
  • Storage of students' own presecribed medication.
  • On site treatment of minor ailments/injuries.
  • Provision of first aid packs to leaders of school trips.
  • Operation of a medical records system.
  • Keeping daily record of students seen and treatments given.
  • Prepating and completing individual care plans for students with special medical needs in partnership with other health professionals, parents and the student as appropriate.
  • Liase with the school health nurse.
  • Distribute health education to members of the school.

Required:
  • Have or obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
  • Experience of working within a people related environment.
  • Have good people skills and relate well to young people and adults.
  • Be well organised, self-motivated and with good time management skills.
