Senior Insurance Lawyer

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Insurance Lawer has arisen within a leading insurance company in the UK. This role offers a competitive salary of c.£100,000 + Bonus + Benefits and can be fully home based or in Manchester or West Sussex on a hybrid working arrangement.

They are committed to providing their customers with the highest quality products and services and are looking for an experience Insurance Lawyer (personal lines ideally) to help them achieve this goal.

In this role you will be responsiblefor providing legal advice and support to the company on a wide range of issues. You will work closely with the legal team and other stakeholders to ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, and that its interests are protected at all times.

• Protect the company's interests at all times.
• Assist with the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
• Manage external legal counsel as required.

 Required knowledge and experience for the Senior Legal Counsel role:

• A qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE
• Experience in the insurance industry is essential, personal lines beneficial.
• Excellent knowledge of UK and EU laws and regulations
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical legal advice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
