My client has an urgent need for an experienced site based civil engineer to look after the q.a. ,setting out and technical queries on this new build research and development project on site in the next few weeks.

Reporting to the Project Manager for the scheme you will be responsible for the out on-site engineering, setting out and management of technical queries for the initial earthworks and services to get the job moving.

As the scheme progresses you will then go on to the frame and groundwork's sub-Contractors and as the project goes on become involved with external works and both external and internal sub-contractors as required

My client is one of the most respected main contractors in the UK and synonymous with flagship projects on everything from education to commercial and health care as well as private and government residential projects. long established and both nationally and internationally known my client has won numerous awards and has a real belief in retention of staff and progression for the right people.

You will have experience of working for respected sub-contractors or a renowned uk main contractor and you will have at least 5 year's experience on site setting out and Monitoring the RC frame and groundwork's sub-contractors/ concrete pours on main contractor projects in excess of £10 mil in value in the past.

You will be degree qualified in civil engineering or similar and have the desire to go into management in the future.
